Dog-A-Thon 2010 raises $156,000!

Donations are still trickling in, but the net raised at Dog-A-Thon 2010 is already up to $156,000!  That's a record-breaking amount donated to help homeless animals!

Thanks to everyone who raised pledges for homeless animals and gathered at Fort Steilacoom park on Saturday for our 20th annual Dog-A-Thon!  It was a beautiful, sunny day, with crowds of people enjoying the sun and the vendor booths, and close to a thousand dogs of all sizes, shapes, colors, and personalities!  

The top pledge raiser was Laurie Cinotto, who raised more than $47,000 through theittybittkittycommittee.com community of cat lovers.  Her IttyBittyKitty team was also the top team, raising close to $50,000.  The second place team was Team Maggie, bringing in more than $6,000!
